ONE SHOT, PAUSE

WITH JAIPUR ARTS WEEK 2025

This workshop aimed to create one shot site specific films in slowly moving bodies in Jaipur’s historic spaces to document them. This collection of films questions time and how we perceive it in these age old buildings that have stood across decades and how perhaps time is embodied by them.

The above video was created by the amazing students.

Eligibility: Anyone with some conceptual film and/or movement background

Tech Required: Phones that can shoot in High Resolution, Editing Software.

Keywords: Site Specific, Movement, Film making, Artistic Expression, Expansion of the perception of time.

Venue: Jal Mahal

Enquiry Question:

1. Why move the camera if there is so much more to discover in a static frame?

2. How do spaces embody time?

3. How long can one minute feel?
